Yeah so I love these new Wal-Mart "GREEN" commercials! They talk about light bulbs, Sun chips, organic coffee, recycled coke bottle cotton t-shirts, PUR water filters, and Silk soy milk (Not to sure about the Green Works products, haven't done any research on them!). They talk about how these products are saving the earth and if ALL of Wal-Mart's customers buys just one it would save a shit load of stuff! Now I like that kind of advertising, advertising for our earth!
Now some of the big wigs at Wal-Mart prolly only care about making money by any means necessary, but ya know what, they're still sending a positive message with their commercials and that's all I care about!

HAPPY EARTH DAY!
Yeah so I thought I'd celebrate earth day with some earth day facts and things you can do to help out.
Earth Day Network
Earth Day calendar of events
Things you and your kids can do
Keep America Beautiful
Now that you know what you can do to help out, go out and have some fun celebrating earth day! And remember, just because earth day is once a year doesn't mean that you can only do these things once a year. I encourage everyone to try and make these things apart of your daily routine! Help keep our earth happy!

A store to love
Yeah so one store I would really like to shop more in is Banana Republic. There fashions are always great and they always have great colors, the only problem is price! Most of their items are really expensive and I'd only be able to buy two things when I actually have money to shop. And at the moment I can't do that because I'm in the middle of building my wardrobe so I'm not wearing the same things over and over and over again. Wearing them down and making me have to start a new each time I get money to shop! But eventually I'll have built my wardrobe and I'll be able to buy atleast one item from there every time I have money to shop, so I'm happy!
Well today I finally got a chance to go through my email and I see an email from Banana Republic, I didn't know they were going green!?! That makes me want to buy even more things in their store! Now all they need to do is recycle their clothing. Things that don't sell, reinvent them into something new!
Another thing they have going at the moment, for earth day of course, is their greener cities program. When you shop at Banana Republic from April 22nd-27th they will be donating 1% of their sales, up to $100,000, to The Trust for Public Land, a non-profit dedicated to conserving urban green spaces. And if you can't shop online or in store on those days you can check out this link where you can donate to the cause. I hope you do, I know I will!

In the name of the earth!
Yeah so I'm big on recycling, I try to do what I can to reuse what I can, and recycle what I can't. I also try to buy as much biodegradable products as I can. I basically try to be as green as possible, and I do it quick and easy! Also every few months I try to think of something new I can add to my routine so eventually everything I do is green!
Anywho-One thing I have just come across is recycled clothing. A company called Urban Outfitters has clothing for men and women, along with shoes, accessories and things for the home. Well like most stores not everything gets sold. And unlike most companies they try and reinvent the items that don't get used so they're not wasting materials, and I think that's great! It's called Urban Renewal, and I hope you check it out!

I'm a HUGE fan of hers, so to Giada and Todd I say congrats, and I wish you the best!

Lets stone them!
Yeah so one of my pet peeves is the fact that most schools use rocks as ground cover on their playgrounds. Whatever happened to good old fashion grass? And if that's to difficult to keep looking nice, what about recycled tires?
I'm sure schools these days push earth day, and being green, on kids so they can help the environment. So why not practice what you preach!?! Give kids a safe place to play, and teach them about recycling all in one shot.
And if you don't have the money to do so, it's called fund raising!! There are so many different ways to make money for schools theses day (I wish some one would try it instead of trying to raise taxes). This would teach kids that you don't get anything for free, and if you work hard you'll be rewarded!

Dreams can come true!
Yeah so my dreams are finally coming true, slowly, but surely!
I've always said that eventually everything will flip. Instead of 80% stuff and 20% organic, it will be 80% organic and 20% stuff. And eventually everything will be organic, but I doubt I'll see that in my life time.
Looking around in the supermarkets, and online in clothing and home good stores I see more and more organic, natural and biodegradable things. I also hear the word green a lot more, green...that wonderful word!
Eventually we will live in a world where everything will be recycled, organic, natural and biodegradable. Everyone will conserve water and electricity. Solar, wind, and cow poop power will be efficient, and readily available.
There are so many other things that I'm forgetting about at the moment, but you get the point...healthier lives lived on a happier earth!

If you blinked....
Yeah so as we know Jericho was canceled, then brought back this past February. CBS ordered like 8 more episodes, and they showed them all. Well I noticed the second to last episode there was a preview for next weeks episode, and it said "SERIES FINALE". WHAT!?!
I waited for the next weeks episode and I waited for them to say what they usually say "Next on CBS the series finale of Jericho". Well nothing like that happened. And the ending possibly could have been a series finale, but looked more like a season finale. All I know is CBS needs to make up it's mind...either keep the show or cancel it! I vote KEEP!
So for anyone out there who likes Jericho I would write CBS to make sure they keep it around!

Ya gotta hate it!
Yeah so every now and again there are a few things in life that just drive me crazy. Commercials happen to be one of those things that are annoying. There are 3 company's who's commercials bother me the most!
The D' D commercial where all these people are rushing to the supermarket, and when I say everyone I mean everyone! There's a guy in a kayak...on dry land! Anywho-they're all rushing to the supermarket to get D' D coffee because it's now at the supermarket. Well then I think to myself, don't they already sell that at D' D? And isn't there a D' D on EVERY corner? You could have just gone there to get it, ya didn't have to rush to the supermarket to get it! Or even wait for it to come to the supermarket! Dumbasses!
Then of course there's another D' D commercial were a lady comes in and asks for a large, the girl behind the counter says dieci. They go back and forth with the large/dieci, even trying to spell it. Then finally the lady asks "What's a dieci?", the girl behind the counter says "It's a large". You've got to be kidding me, you stupid pretentious pompous arrogant bitch! If large and dieci are the same thing, then why did you have to be a bitch when she said large in the first place? Oh yeah that's right, you think you're better then everyone else because you work in a crappy expensive coffee house!
The FCR.C commercial where the guy's singing his song and says something about dressing for the job he wants, not the job he's in, so why is he dressed up like a pirate serving food. Gee...I wonder...maybe because it's a uniform!?! You kinda can't wear a suit and tie when you're serving food! So maybe you should dress like that out side of work ya dumbass! Then there's another commercial about his car. He's clearly not dressed nice, so he clearly doesn't want a good job! And I think those girls are laughing at you guys cuz you're a bunch of dorks singing, with instruments, in your car!
And the IHOP commercial where this cop pulls over a kid for some reason, then all off a sudden he's putting whipped cream on the ticket. Then the two of them are at IHOP eating stacks of pancakes. Yeah, that's a little creepy...I think that kid is under 18, and you're a cop so you should know better!
